I would calculate it manually like this:<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>sff=copper_area\/(Net_Slot_Area)=17*(11*pi*(0.965\/2)^2)\/299.188=0.457 = 45.7%<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>But Ansys calculates 58%. I didn&#8217;t assume insulation and even if I assume a fictitious very small value, the fill factor doesn&#8217;t change significantly. How does Ansys calculate the fill factor? Can I calculate the fill factor myself?
