


{"id":365347,"date":"2024-05-03T08:36:50","date_gmt":"2024-05-03T08:36:50","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/converge-issue-with-phase-interaction\/"},"modified":"2024-05-03T08:36:50","modified_gmt":"2024-05-03T08:36:50","slug":"converge-issue-with-phase-interaction","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/converge-issue-with-phase-interaction\/","title":{"rendered":"Converge issue with phase interaction"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Hi, everybody.<br \/>I&#8217;m doing in ansys fluent 2023R2.<br \/>&#8211;&nbsp; Steady-state for 2D model.<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Multiphase model: Eulerian.<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Primary phase material: Newtonian.<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Second phase material: non-Newtonian.<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;&nbsp; Scheme: phase coupled simple<br \/>&#8211;&nbsp; Mesh size: 5e-3mm.<br \/>&#8211;&nbsp; Diameter for secondary phase: 8e-3mm.<br \/>&#8211;&nbsp; Momentum is second-order upwind.<br \/>Boundary condition: rectagular (0.1 mm and 20mm ), velocity inlet is 0.5m\/s. zero presure at outlet<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>My model cannot converge when using Schiller-Naumann model for Drag Coefficient and saffman-mei for Lift Coefficient.
