I just can&#8217;t get the software to run. Whether I start the software individually or from Workbench, the loading screen opens, but then the software always freezes at the following screen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Ansys Mechanical crash\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/05\/02-05-2024-1714662224-Ansys Mechanical crash.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times using the Ansys uninstaller (of course, restarting in between). During the first installation, I got an error message that Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 (X64 and X86) could not be installed because both were already installed. I then uninstalled both before installation (restarted) and then it worked and both packages were installed by Ansys. I don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s the problem. My PC should have enough power, so that shouldn&#8217;t be the problem either (i9 12900K, RTX 3060, 32 GB Ram). I am using Windows 11 and Ansys 2024 R1 (Student version).<\/p>\n<p>I really don&#8217;t know what to do anymore. I haven&#8217;t found anything in this direction here in the forum, if I overlooked a post, please correct me.
