I’m analyzing with transient structural analysis. The large deflection is turned on. I want to check the moment reaction on the red area shown below using a moment probe. But, the resulting moment is at the centroid of the body and not at the centroid of the surface. And, the moment is very large. The displacement is only around 8mm.

Can someone explain me how to get the moment reaction at the surface only? And if there’s something I may be doing wrong for the moment reaction to be this large? And how does the resulting moment be placed at the centroid of the body and not on the surface?

Thank you.

Also this is the force reaction at that surface, for reference:

["post-364303","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-contact-force-reaction","topic-tag-contact-reaction-probe","topic-tag-force-reaction","topic-tag-moment-calculation","topic-tag-non-linear-buckling","topic-tag-nonlinear-buckling","topic-tag-probe-force-reaction","topic-tag-reactions-1","topic-tag-result-postprocessing","topic-tag-structural-nonlinear
[{"0":
341519","240","482903
96.7.74.173"]," _bbp_last_reply_id":["0"]," _bbp_likes_count":["0
1369
unanswered
364303
27791
240","341519","482903
3
6
394273
394273
2024-11-19 12:46:21
["GET
