However, my model can&#8217;t give me satisfying results.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>the friction coefficient is set to 0.3 and below is my command<\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">et, cid, 174<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">RMODIF,cid,21,5.3&nbsp; <\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">RMODIF,cid,22,4 <\/span><\/pre>\n<p>Initially, I used a mesh resolution of 0 (approximately 8mm), which resulted in a response that deviated from the expected exponential decay. In an attempt to improve the accuracy, I increased the mesh fineness.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/24-04-2024-1713970338-mceclip0.png\" width=\"443\" height=\"199\"><\/p>\n<p>Here I used a mesh resolution of 1 (approximately 6mm)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/24-04-2024-1713977439-mceclip0.png\" width=\"450\" height=\"196\"><\/p>\n<p>However, the challenges arose when I attempted to further refine the mesh size. Specifically, when the mesh resolution was set to 2 (approximately 4mm) or higher, I encountered an error message and obtained results that were unexpected.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/24-04-2024-1713977618-mceclip1.png\" width=\"574\" height=\"133\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/24-04-2024-1713977763-mceclip2.png\" width=\"419\" height=\"185\"><\/p>\n<p>here is the result of mesh resolution = 3 ( about 3mm)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/24-04-2024-1713977963-mceclip3.png\" width=\"423\" height=\"183\"><\/p>\n<p>here is the result of mesh resolution = 4 (about 2.25mm)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/24-04-2024-1713976917-mceclip0.png\" width=\"421\" height=\"183\"><\/p>\n<p>I wonder if my command is incorrect or if I may mess up with other things that I can&#8217;t run the simulation properly.
