The geometry is linked to a solidworks part file. When I attempt to mesh with manual thin, the sweep method shows me an option to change the &#8216;Sweep Num Divs&#8217; and the part meshes correctly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/23-04-2024-1713896789-mceclip1.png\" width=\"361\" height=\"272\"><\/p>\n<p>However, if I now go back to solidworks, make copies of the body in the same part, update geometry in Ansys, and attempt to change the sweep num divs on this method, it now appears to be grayed out and stuck at 1:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/23-04-2024-1713896883-mceclip2.png\" width=\"767\" height=\"331\"><\/p>\n<p>It meshes still fine, but the num of divs through the thickness is only 1 which is not desirable.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/23-04-2024-1713896950-mceclip3.png\" width=\"730\" height=\"335\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-363812","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"I am attempting a manual thin operation on a simple bracket as shown with split faces.
