I would like to separate it in two cell zones (one above the cylinder, one below the cylinder) to define own splitting\/collapsing conditions. As you can see the splitting process above the cylinder isn&#8217;t working at the moment. I think the reason for that is, that the cell-row above and below the cylinder is one cell-row, because it is just one cell zone. If I separate the cell zones, the cylinder (definied as wall) is also splitted and can&#8217;t be combined anymore (due to missing connection conditions).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Summing up, I need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>one cylinder (wall up, wall down)<\/li>\n<li>two adjacent zones of cylinder (above and below the cylinder)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If I define two faces in the mesher, the cylinder gehts separated automatically.<\/p>\n<p>Can you please help\/tell me, how I can separate the zell cone in two zones but keep the cylinder (as shown in the picture) at the same time?<\/p>\n<p>Thank you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-362683","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Hello,here is my model: The whole area is just one cell zone.
