Preferably tip to tail but if I need to break up the sections its fine. However, we are supposed to model the Flameholder section as a pressure loss according to this formula:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/16-04-2024-1713305245-3B8B3FB3-86F2-45D1-ABCD-640343A90864.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This pressure loss region would be at the line marked &#8220;3&#8221; in the picture below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/16-04-2024-1713305304-AF81F93B-9369-48BE-95AF-782F1764B091.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Modeling this is matlab is straightforward but in Fluent is another matter. I am confident in how to model all the other sections but am at a bit of a loss on how to model this pressure loss. This would be a 2D simulation so the pressure loss would be a straight line across the combustor region. I&#8217;ve seen a few things regarding using the porous media model\/tool thing as a potential solution but I am not confident in that approach.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Any help\/advice\/guidance would be appreciated.
