I&#8217; looking a lot in the ANSYS Help Documentation, but i didn&#8217;t what i&#8217;m looking for. I&#8217;m talking about the element type for meshing:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>For 2D, you can mesh the geometry with tirangles and squares. For 3D, you can mesh the geometry, for example with tetrahedra,prisms, hexahedrons,&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Which advantages and disadvantages do i have for each element type? Which element do i choose for which problem?<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>An overview would be great.
