{"id":362187,"date":"2024-04-15T10:46:10","date_gmt":"2024-04-15T10:46:10","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/fluent-problem-with-parallelization\/"},"modified":"2024-04-15T10:46:10","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T10:46:10","slug":"fluent-problem-with-parallelization","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/fluent-problem-with-parallelization\/","title":{"rendered":"Fluent &#8211; problem with parallelization"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello,<\/p>\n<p>I am solving a Fluent case, with activated &#8220;Structure&#8221;, which means that I use Fluent intrinsic fluid-structure interaction solver.&nbsp;<br \/>I experience the same solving time, when I use single core, and multiple cores (e.g., 16).<br \/>I checked the partitioning details, shown below:<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/15-04-2024-1713177628-mceclip0.png\"><\/p>\n<p>For the fluid flow-only Fluent simulations, I always got faster computations with multiple cores.<br \/>Do you have any advice, how to overcome this issue, maybe with tuning parallel settings? When I checked the CPU usage in the Task manager, I can see the higher CPU usage for the multiple core Fluent solving (proportional to the number of cores).
