


{"id":361247,"date":"2024-04-09T08:30:22","date_gmt":"2024-04-09T08:30:22","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/interconnect-lumerical\/"},"modified":"2024-04-09T08:30:22","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T08:30:22","slug":"interconnect-lumerical","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/interconnect-lumerical\/","title":{"rendered":"INTERCONNECT LUMERICAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone, I wanted to ask a support related to the need of inserting the correct values of effective index in a Lumerical interconnect model for a MZI.<br \/>Seems that in Interconnect you cannot launche a mode-source that takes into account the fundamental mode TE or TM supported by the waveguide.<br \/>So you can insert in the object &#8220;straight waveguide&#8221; the values called : effective index, group index and dispersion.<\/p>\n<p>How I can put the correct ones in this object?
