Hello all,<\/p>\n

I have defined a shell geomtry and setup a composite stackup in acp for a composite structure. At the rear of the structure both surfaces meet to form a solid body.<\/p>\n

When trying to merge nodes to allow the two meshes to be simulated as one, I have performed a mesh edit within static structural, but as I am using a structure that was defined through acp, when performing a node merge I can only select geometry from the original acp mesh (the shell structure). Therefore when this merge is performed, the mesh turns itself inside out in the merged region as the nodes from the outer shell are moving inwards (this is depicted below).<\/p>\n

Is there any solution to this problem?<\/p>\n
