Hi,<\/p>\n

There are two excitations available in Ansys Maxwell for 2D transient analysis: voltage and current. I have observed that it is only possible to add Y connection in case of voltage excited windings but not for current excited windings. My questions are as follows:<\/p>\n

  1. In case of current excited windings, what is the default connection assumed by Maxwell, star or delta?<\/li>\n
  2. Can I get delta connection in Ansys Maxwell 2D tranient similar to Y connection?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
