How to create a contact in a model using MultiStage Cyclic Symmetry? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If I understand correctly, the contact between two different <strong>Stages <\/strong>is not available, so I have to include two parts of the contact in a single <strong>Stage<\/strong>. For example, the <em>2ndStage<\/em> of the compressor is connected to the <em>3rdStage <\/em>by bolts. I replace the bolts with bonded connections. If I scope the <em>2ndStage <\/em>to one part and the <em>3rdStage <\/em>to another part, then define them as two separate <strong>Stages <\/strong>of multi-stage cyclic symmetry, I can&#8217;t create the contact between them. So I define the <em>2ndStage <\/em>as two separate parts and define <strong>Stage3 <\/strong>as comprising the <em>3rdStage <\/em>and part of the <em>2ndStage<\/em> to create the bonded connection inside <strong>Stage3<\/strong>. In this case, 2 parts of the <em>2ndStage <\/em>are connected by Interstage.&nbsp;<br \/>What do you think? Is there another way of defining the contact in this case?<\/p>\n<p>2.
