Hi all, gentlemen and gentlewomen!<\/p>\n

I have a simple 3D model of a “lambda-shaped” vent within its (much larger) CFD enclosure, and I’m splitting it in half to exploit the symmetry of the problem.<\/p>\n

I’m using the Split by plane<\/em> feature twice, using a temporary midplane to cut in half the enclosure first, then using the half-enclosure itself to cut the venting system. Everything looks fine, but as soon as I save and reopen the file, all sorts of errors come up, starting with “An error while executing ‘Open'” and persisting whatever I’m trying to do. I tried repeating the procedure just in case it was a file corruption issue, but nothing changed. The geometry is fine before cutting it, and stops working as soon as it’s split by plane.<\/p>\n
