{"id":355934,"date":"2024-03-07T16:39:57","date_gmt":"2024-03-07T16:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/fluent-failed-to-validate-the-connection-after-a-certain-time\/"},"modified":"2024-03-07T16:39:57","modified_gmt":"2024-03-07T16:39:57","slug":"fluent-failed-to-validate-the-connection-after-a-certain-time","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/fluent-failed-to-validate-the-connection-after-a-certain-time\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;FLUENT failed to validate the connection&#8221; after a certain time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi,<\/p>\n<p>I have recently installed Ansys 2024R1 and since, I regularly have the error &#8220;FLUENT failed to validate the connection&#8221; from workbench.<br \/>Fluent is running fine until the following message appears in the console :<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;from 127.0.0.1 on port 51260<br \/>[&#8230;]<br \/>&nbsp;from 127.0.0.1 on port 51391<br \/>[mpiexec@j5023-12] HYD_dmx_wait_for_event (..\\windows\\src\\hydra_demux.c:231): unable to post next accept<br \/>[mpiexec@j5023-12] wmain (mpiexec.c:2086): error waiting for event<br \/>&nbsp;Error in the fluent (fl) process : ended abnormally<\/p>\n<p>Fluent is automatically closed. And if I try to reopen it, the &#8220;FLUENT failed to validate the connection&#8221; appears. Closing Workbench and reopen it fixes the issue for a few hours.<\/p>\n<p>I already tried most of the solutions proposed on the forums.
