I am injecting the mode profile of the input waveguide.<br \/><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/05-03-2024-1709660870-mceclip1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/05-03-2024-1709660870-mceclip1.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">To create my transmission spectra I have two DFT Monitors &#8211; one measuring the reflected power (behind the source) and one measuring transmission to the output waveguide. (See below for layout of monitors).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/05-03-2024-1709661582-mceclip2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/05-03-2024-1709661582-mceclip2.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">After simulating I get the result plots below but I am unsure about the results. I&#8217;m not entirely sure where power is being lost (I have been using a movie monitor to try and debug this, to no result) and additionally, these results have been very sensitive to small changes in input parameters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/05-03-2024-1709661617-mceclip3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/05-03-2024-1709661617-mceclip3.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Any advice on how to carry out this type of simulation would be appreciated!!
