I have the 3D view of the geometry and all dimensions sit nicely, I&#8217;m quite pleased with the result.<\/p>\n<p>Only issue I have is, I&#8217;m not able to recreate any of that anymore! On this project the &#8220;Sketching Plane 1&#8221; is always shown in the structure tree at all times, and the dimensions are there in the 3D view after clicking the End Sketch Editing button. I&#8217;m able to toggle it off as I like, when I want to hide the dimensions.<br \/>However, whenever I start a new project from scratch, both the &#8220;Sketching Plane 1&#8221; object and the dimensions are gone for good when I End Sketch Editing; can&#8217;t find it anymore, let alone toggle it on.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a beginner and there&#8217;s a good chance this is not the best way to have the software display dimensions in 3D, but for now I&#8217;d just love to grasp what&#8217;s going on (if ever, because I happen to have greatly misunderstood the basics here).<\/p>\n<p>Thank you all in advance!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-355432","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_subscription":["60427","2328"],"_bbp_author_ip":["23.206.193.146"]," _bbp_last_reply_id":["0"]," _bbp_likes_count":["0"],"_btv_view_count":["1517"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_topic_id":["355432"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27789"],"_bbp_engagement":["2328","60427"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["2"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["355612"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["355612"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2024-03-06 12:41:11"]},"test":"alex-chiellamail-polimi-it"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/355432","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/355432\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=355432"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
