The values are deviating a lot. Initally I started with program controlled and then when I was geting huge spikes in the curve I then switched to iterative solver. I have tried to reduce the timestep but still the curve is all spiky.

So what can I do to optimise the time step for my problem so that I can get a convergent graph.

Also is there a way to check simultaneously that the solution is converging or not like it could be seen in ANSYS Fluent with curves continously plotting.

I am attaching a few pictures of the settings and APDL Commands that I am giving for refernce.

#ansysmechanicalapdl #ansysmechanical #transientthermal #thermalanalysis #gaussianheatsource

["post-354776","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-ansys-mechanical","topic-tag-ansys-mechanical-apdl","topic-tag-ansys-transient-thermal-2","topic-tag-gaussian-heat-source","topic-tag-transient-thermal
[{"0":
302550","20905
23.52.43.81"]," _bbp_last_reply_id":["0"]," _bbp_likes_count":["0
2747
unanswered
354776
27791
20905","302550
2
3
355661
355661
2024-03-06 15:02:44
["GET
