The project has imported geometry from SolidWorks and I’ve simplified it as much as possible to mesh more easily. The model contains fluid flow (water) in two separate paths (2 inlets and 2 outlets). I don’t have access to SpaceClaim so I used SolidWorks to model the fluid regions of the project. Now the issue is when meshing, I can generate a mesh while specifying certain regions to be finer (such as the fluid regions) but even on a mesh that has 17million+ elements, when I run the solver, I always get the same error of “Solver failed because of poor mesh quality. Try adjusting the mesh settings.” I’ve attached an image of a cut plane of the mesh. I believe the errors are in the corners of the curved surfaces in some regions but I don’t think it should be an issue still with this many elements. Any advice\/tips for meshing this?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-352683","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_subscription":["56339","35359"],"_bbp_author_ip":["23.206.193.154"]," _bbp_last_reply_id":["0"]," _bbp_likes_count":["0"],"_btv_view_count":["1102"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_topic_id":["352683"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27793"],"_bbp_engagement":["35359","56339"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["1"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["353171"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["353171"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2024-02-22 15:19:03"]},"test":"bryanluippoldiscintl21-com"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/352683","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/352683\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=352683"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
