{"id":350805,"date":"2024-02-12T13:23:18","date_gmt":"2024-02-12T13:23:18","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/scdm-scripting-powerselection-not-working-as-expected\/"},"modified":"2024-02-26T09:13:19","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T09:13:19","slug":"scdm-scripting-powerselection-not-working-as-expected","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/scdm-scripting-powerselection-not-working-as-expected\/","title":{"rendered":"SCDM Scripting PowerSelection not working as expected"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello,&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I am simply trying to select some edges less than a threshold via the PowerSelection command.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>First, I try by recording a macro that is when I select an edge manually, and then execute the powerSelection tool, which works fine (Line 82 and geometry as shown in the screenshot).<\/p>\n<p>In line 83, I rewrite the same line but instead use a length as a criteria, which can be used as an argument according to API documentation. But then it doesn&#8217;t work.
