{"id":349818,"date":"2024-02-08T08:48:38","date_gmt":"2024-02-08T08:48:38","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/journal-file-error-2\/"},"modified":"2024-02-08T08:48:38","modified_gmt":"2024-02-08T08:48:38","slug":"journal-file-error-2","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/journal-file-error-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Journal File Error"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m trying to run a transient simulation using fluent on the cluster.&nbsp;<br \/>This is the journal file that I&#8217;m using:<\/p>\n<p>\/file\/read-case t1.cas<br \/>\/file\/read-data t1.dat<br \/>\/solve\/dual-time-iterate 40000 20&nbsp;<br \/>\/file\/wcd t1end.cas<br \/>\/exit\/yes<\/p>\n<p>But when the simulation finished, it did not write the final case and data file and I got the following error:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/02\/08-02-2024-1707382035-mceclip0.png\"><\/p>\n<p>I tried the simulation again, but this time with 10 timesteps instead of 40,000 to save time, and in this case it worked and wrote the final case and data files.
