We have some researchers here who are running into an error when using Fluent. This is ANSYS 2022 R2 on Windows. <\/span><\/p>\n

We have the ANSYS Academic Multiphysics Campus Solution with plenty of available licenses for all components. The client machine is accessing the license server properly.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, sometimes when running Fluent jobs, they get this error:<\/span><\/p>\n

I had them generate the ANSYS logs on the client side, and in the log “[machinename].FLUENT.222.out”, I see the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

It looks like at 14:30:57 cfd_solve_level2 was properly accessed, and when attempted again at 14:31:05 (and after), it was denied.<\/span><\/pre>\n

It does not appear to be a matter of licensing in terms of what our ANSYS license allows, but maybe in terms of what can be run on a single machine?<\/span><\/p>\n
