I do some calculus in Static Structural. I create my model on my computer using Ansys Workbench and I use the function “Tools > Write Input Files” to create a file .dat. Then I put this file.dat on a server where I solve my model using APDL in Batch. Then I import all the results on my computer in the same folder where I have my .wbpj and I use the function “Tools > Read Results Files” to open the results in Workbench.<\/p>\n

Sometimes it works very well, and sometimes the function “Tools > Read Results Files” is grey and I cannot access it in Workbench. What can I do to solve this problem ? <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– There is no big difference between my files that are working and the ones that don’t. (Sometimes it is just a model I copy paste and changed the size of the mesh for example).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– I followed the instructions of the User’s Guide : I use an APDL command in Workbench, the files have the same name, they are stored in the same folder as my .wbpj, I have the .rst and .err together (with all the others : .out, .db, .log ….etc.) and of course I highlight the “Solution” before.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– I have no problem with my licence (I have Teaching and Research Academic v14).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– The size of the result doesn’t seem to influence<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– I have cleared the solution data, so my model is asking for a Solution<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– I have compared the options between the files working and the files that are not working and they are the same.<\/p>\n
