


{"id":344559,"date":"2024-01-13T20:44:56","date_gmt":"2024-01-13T20:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/license-server-problems-2\/"},"modified":"2024-01-18T18:15:28","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T18:15:28","slug":"license-server-problems-2","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/license-server-problems-2\/","title":{"rendered":"license server problems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ansys license server is installed on my office machine.&nbsp; I have downloaded and installed Ansys Zemax Opticstudio on my home machine.&nbsp; I have run Ansys licensing client settings, and it succeeds in contacting the server from my home machine, but when I put that licensing data in on starting Ansys Zemax Opticstudio, it says:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif\">No Ansys products were detected.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>Check the license settings in the License Utility on the help tab<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\">When I google that error message, at<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.zemax.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/6622488112659-Solving-errors-when-accessing-an-Ansys-network-license\">https:\/\/support.zemax.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/6622488112659-Solving-errors-when-accessing-an-Ansys-network-license<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\">it says:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\">This means the license subscription is no longer valid or the license was renewed but not updated on your organization&#8217;s license server.
