I calculate the total stress but I am also interested to calculate the total force required for that displacement. I have a geometry with 3 layers, with some surfaces having bonded contact.

In other words, I specifiy the displacement (of 3 micron in my case) on the top surface and a certain force on the bottom surface of the top layer.

Now I want to calculate how much will be the force will be required to cause that displacement ( so how much force will be needed to lift that membrane to 3 micron)?? Is the reaction force the correct way to do this?

So using reaction force on the same face as the displacement? Or is there another way for this??

Please help!

["post-344093","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-ansysworkbench-ansys-staticstructural","topic-tag-force-reaction","topic-tag-structure
[{"0":
56386","13927
23.52.43.81"]," _bbp_last_reply_id":["0"]," _bbp_likes_count":["0
2660
unanswered
1704935036:122488
344093
27791
13927","56386
2
1
344243
344243
2024-01-11 12:19:31
["GET
