I used steady-state thermal-electric conduction in Ansys Workbench and added this command (antype,4) to get the transient analysis with time. I found the temperature was different by changing the diameter of the wire, but it was still the same for different lengths. What is wrong, please?<\/p>\n<p>I used the convection coefficient (h) =5 W\/m^2-C for the surface of the wire and applied a 1A current through the wire (by adding v = 0 on one side and A = 1 for the opposite).
