Ansys provides a General Guidelines for Transferring Files (ansys.com)<\/a> to AnsysGateway.<\/p>\n

Here we discuss how to transfer files to LINUX NFS storage server deployed on Gateway as described here Creating Storage for Shared Data (ansys.com)<\/a><\/p>\n

Mounted Drives<\/h3>\n

The local drives on your local machine can be automatically mapped to a virtual desktop. <\/p>\n

If you have enabled local drive mapping<\/a> in your user settings, your local drives are automatically mapped to a virtual desktop when you connect to the virtual desktop.<\/p>\n

On a Linux virtual desktop with KDE, the local drives are available as folders under Home\/thinclient_drives<\/strong><\/span> in Dolphin (KDE’s file manager):<\/p>\n

SCP and SFTP protocol<\/h3>\n

To transfer data in and out the storage server scp<\/em> and sftp<\/em> protocols can be used.<\/p>\n

From windows clients you need to install a transfer tool like WinSCP or FileZilla client.<\/p>\n

Configure a new site using host details, as provided on the AGW dashboard when connecting on the storage server using SSH<\/p>\n

Configure a new site using host details, as provided on the AGW dashboard when connecting on the storage server using SSH. Port configuration use 22<\/p>\n

Linux Command Line<\/h4>\n

From Linux clients a tool installation is not required. scp commands are available to use.<\/p>\n

Push a local directory from your computer to remote storage server<\/p>\n

scp  -r <local_dir> superadmin@[storage_server_ip]:[remote_dir]<\/p>\n

Get a remote directory from storage server to your computer.<\/p>\n

scp  -r superadmin@[storage_server_ip]:[remote_dir] [local_dir]<\/p>\n
