{"id":33769,"date":"2019-03-07T14:04:27","date_gmt":"2019-03-07T14:04:27","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/unable-to-stop-a-calculation\/"},"modified":"2019-03-07T14:04:27","modified_gmt":"2019-03-07T14:04:27","slug":"unable-to-stop-a-calculation","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/unable-to-stop-a-calculation\/","title":{"rendered":"unable to &#8216;stop&#8217; a calculation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi,<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I have faced this several times that if I stop a calculation<strong> during the first iteration,<\/strong> it would not stop and the stop option would also be disabled! then,I have either to wait until all calculations end, or force the program to exit(end-task), which I do not like to do so.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Is there a solution stop if the &#8216;stop&#8217; button has disabled?<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In the figure below, I have set 1000 iterations, after clicking the &#8216;calculate&#8217;, I remembered something else to change and I pushed the &#8216;stop&#8217;.
