


{"id":33390,"date":"2019-02-19T16:14:35","date_gmt":"2019-02-19T16:14:35","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/extrusion-difficulties\/"},"modified":"2019-02-19T16:14:35","modified_gmt":"2019-02-19T16:14:35","slug":"extrusion-difficulties","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/extrusion-difficulties\/","title":{"rendered":"Extrusion Difficulties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello I am just started using the software.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>So I am very new, I have a decent background in other CAD Programs.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I watched the tutorials on lip shape and duplicated what I saw but I have an issue that maybe the narrator did not cover.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I made a simple geometry and under physics regions I have an error which states &#8220;disconnected (group of0 bodies found. see the adding region interface conditions for polymer extrusion simulations&#8221; section in the help for details.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Clicking on help changes the box on the right of the screen however the box is empty.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>so I tried adding a interface condition (region interface). doing so eliminated the physics region error, however when I start adding fluid flow conditions and then get an error region interface is adjacent to a die deformation, which is not allowed. Define a multi-body part with connected bodies. see &#8220;considerations for region interfaces and polymer extrusion&#8221; in the help for details. again clicking on help does not do anything.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I just need to figure one out.
