


{"id":32943,"date":"2019-01-29T10:27:21","date_gmt":"2019-01-29T10:27:21","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/cyclic-loading-from-ansys-workbench\/"},"modified":"2019-01-29T10:27:21","modified_gmt":"2019-01-29T10:27:21","slug":"cyclic-loading-from-ansys-workbench","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/cyclic-loading-from-ansys-workbench\/","title":{"rendered":"Cyclic loading from ANSYS Workbench"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I am using ANSYS Workbench to perform a cyclic loading test of a reinforced concrete column.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>As showing in figure 1, there are two loads: vertical and lateral, according to the experimental, the vertical load is a force controlled considered to be constant during the test, and the lateral is applied as a displacement controlled represent the cyclic loading.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I would like to know how can I applied a constant value for the vertical load, with using a multiple number of steps (in order to define the cycles of the second load).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Figure 2 shows the cycles used in the experimental.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>How can I applied this load?.
