I have a model with the bolts and a few extrusions of 8020. I&#8217;ve specified the contacts between the cylindrical side of each bolt and the extrusion to be bolted, and the &#8220;T&#8221; side of the bolt to be frictional with a coefficient of 0.61. I&#8217;ve tried changing the cylindrical contact surface to frictional with the same coefficient, but this resulted in the same stresses.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/9ea83d47-dcc7-4cfc-94b1-a9a10188ffdd\/36ed7a6f-0012-4016-8fb3-a9db0136e425_8020-joints.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In the picture above, you can see that the simulation describes a measure of stress at the location marked &#8220;T side&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m simply unsure as to why the one bolt has stresses present but the others do not.
