


{"id":326300,"date":"2023-12-05T07:18:09","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T07:18:09","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/convergence-issue-with-hyperelastic-material\/"},"modified":"2023-12-05T07:18:09","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T07:18:09","slug":"convergence-issue-with-hyperelastic-material","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/convergence-issue-with-hyperelastic-material\/","title":{"rendered":"Convergence issue with hyperelastic material"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Dear Ansys community,<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>I&#8217;m trying to model blood pressure acting on the blood vessel in Static structural.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Blood vessel was modelled using 5 parameter mooney-rivlin model with two layer mesh, and the surrounding muscle was linear elastic.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>As shown in the picture below, fixed boundary was applied to the muscle surrounding the vessel wall, and frictionless condition to the muscle surrounding inlet &amp; outlets. Pressure was applied to the inner surface of blood vessel (yellow and green surfaces).&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/12\/05-12-2023-1701760573-mceclip1.png\"><\/div>\n<div>I turned autotime stepping on with minimum number of steps of 100, and max of 400. However the solver failed to converge.
