{"id":32422,"date":"2019-01-03T16:29:50","date_gmt":"2019-01-03T16:29:50","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/environment-variable-cfx5root\/"},"modified":"2019-01-03T16:29:50","modified_gmt":"2019-01-03T16:29:50","slug":"environment-variable-cfx5root","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/environment-variable-cfx5root\/","title":{"rendered":"environment variable CFX5ROOT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Community,<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>happy new year.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I use FLUENT &#8220;Academic Student Release&#8221; 19.2 on a Windows-PC.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I try to get output via &#8220;Export to CFD-Post&#8221;, but the message<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Unable to launch CFD Post from (path not fully displayed, ending in &#8230;\/CFD-Post\/bin\/cfx5post.exe)<br \/>Please set environment variable CFX5ROOT and try again.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>pops up.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Strikingly, I find cfx5post.exe only in a different path: <br \/>C:prgANSYS IncANSYS Studentv192CFXbin<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I am a computer moron and our system administrator is still on holidays.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>How can be problem be fixed ? Where and how do I have to set the environment variable ?<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I am aware that I can disable the Open CFD-Post option, and load the file manually.
