Hello there, I’m trying meshing a prismatic body that consists of six panels made of sandwich honeycomb structures. Aditionally, there are some fittings with their respective screws and washers to join the panels with each other. I’m struggling with the mesh of the body and I don’t know if the key of the problem are the contact regions between the different parts. The thing is I’m quite overwhelmed with the countless of contact regions there are. I tried meshing each panel separately by supressing the other panels, but still, ansys fails to mesh. I don’t know whether simplifying the model by getting rid of the fittings and screws will still result in an accurate structural analysis or not. <\/p>\n
