I am currently using the Ansys R2 2023 Student Edition.<\/p>\n<p>Are ACIS components no longer supported in Ansys R2 2023 Student Edition?<\/p>\n<p>I am having trouble placing vendor antenna components into my HFSS design.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All of the provided vendor component libraries contain ACIS models from what I can tell.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For example, I attempted to place each of the provided TDK antenna models into my design and received the following error without error code:<\/p>\n<p>HFSSDesign1 (Terminal Network)<br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; [error] Prepare model: &nbsp;Encrypted components created with ACIS are no longer supported. Please update the component definition to a new version created with Parasolid.&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; [error] Prepare model failed. (12:21:25 PM &nbsp;Nov 28, 2023)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Is there a way to convert the ACIS model to Parasolid natively in the Ansys toolset?<\/p>\n<p>Or potentially a way to enable a legacy mode that will allow ACIS models to placed in the design?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Any help is appreciated on this topic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-319865","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-ansys-help","topic-tag-ansys-hfss","topic-tag-error"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Hello, I am new to HFSS and still learning the tool.
