Can anyone please let me understand how we can get critical buckling moment of a beam with a mid point concentrated load?<\/p>\n
I’m working on a project to first model a beam with a concentrated load & get critical moment from ansys and then verifying the answers with EC3 methodology. Later on, will do parametric study on the same beam in ansys.<\/p>\n
Every literature i read just mentions the results of critical buckling moment (Mcr) but doesn’t define how they got it particularly from ansys since ansys only tells you the load factor which one is supposed to multiply with the applied load to get critical buckling load but I’m looking to get critical moment?<\/p>\n
