


{"id":311181,"date":"2023-10-12T02:26:35","date_gmt":"2023-10-12T02:26:35","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/adhesive-zone-of-edge-between-two-body\/"},"modified":"2023-10-12T02:26:35","modified_gmt":"2023-10-12T02:26:35","slug":"adhesive-zone-of-edge-between-two-body","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/adhesive-zone-of-edge-between-two-body\/","title":{"rendered":"Adhesive zone of edge between two body"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello guys,<\/p>\n<p>I am working on thesis about a thermal expansion simulation for a 5 layers body, each layer has its own geometry which can be numbered from 1 to 5, started from top.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/10\/12-10-2023-1697077082-mceclip0.png\" width=\"510\" height=\"361\"><\/p>\n<p>I am using static structural in Workbench and CZM for contact debonding between 3 &amp; 4 interface.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The CZM material has a reliable resource.<\/li>\n<li>Contact type is Bonded<\/li>\n<li>Both pure penalty and Augmented Lagrange Formulation has been tried.<\/li>\n<li>Serval Meshing size has been tried whatever is small or big<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The expected results in 5x is shown below in first picture, which has a adhesion between the edge during the debonding.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/10\/12-10-2023-1697077309-mceclip1.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Picture below is my result which didn&#8217;t show any adhesion of the edge during the expansion.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/10\/12-10-2023-1697077379-mceclip2.png\" width=\"729\" height=\"418\"><\/p>\n<p>Any recommandation to solve this problem?
