My simulation involves a fixed rigid pool containing a flexible body, with the flexible body being compressed by an upper rigid plate. My goal is to compress the flexible body up to a specific point.

I already have experimental data from a conducted test, which includes a stress vs. time graph. The stress in the experiment was calculated as the reaction forces on the plate divided by the plate’s area. Now, I’m looking for a straightforward method to determine the reaction forces on the moving rigid plate within ANSYS LS-Dyna. I have attached my model picure for better understanding, and any suggestions for improving the model are also welcome.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

["post-309290","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-ansys-ls-dyna-1","topic-tag-compression","topic-tag-flexible-body
[{"0":
28915","275204
96.7.218.223"]," _bbp_last_reply_id":["0"]," _bbp_likes_count":["0
1592
1695932554:232953
unanswered
publish
309290
27796
28915","275204
2
2
309341
309341
2023-09-28 20:21:55
["GET
