The mesh that I want is like the one in black with the red line of interface between the phases. Also, the one I get with the FLUENT VOF adaption scheme, is in green mesh. The controls (options) I am having are also attached in the post here. I have tried each and every combination to control the same, but no success. I have tried “advanced controls” by providing additional refinement layers, still it doesn’t work out.
The requirement is such that the mesh adapted layers should not instantly get coarsened, instead it should have some additional layers (say 5 or 6 layers of the same sized cells) as shown in the figure with black mesh, and the same should continue for the next level.
Is there a way that this distance from the interface or the number of fixed sized layers can be confirmed to achieve the desired adaption control\/desired mesh as shown.
If there can be some expression also, please help me with some hints how to do so.
Many thanks in advance.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-306955","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-adaptivemesh-2"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_subscription":["172258","199"],"_bbp_author_ip":["96.7.218.223"]," _bbp_last_reply_id":["0"]," _bbp_likes_count":["0"],"_btv_view_count":["478"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_status":["publish"],"_bbp_topic_id":["306955"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27792"],"_bbp_engagement":["199","172258"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["6"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["307287"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["307287"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2023-09-18 15:10:36"]},"test":"kumar119"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/306955","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/306955\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=306955"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
