I use a tetrahedral mesh in this simulation with y + = 1. for boundary conditions at the inlet is the inlet velocity and outlet is the outlet pressure, and in the stator section a constant heat flux of 3500 W\/m2.K is given in laminar flow, or can be seen in the following picture of my geometry;<\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Boundary Condition\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/20-08-2023-1692532724-bc.png\" alt=\"\"><\/div>\n<div>when the simulation is finished running and I analyze the results, the Nusselt value that I get from the calculation does not match the validation equation from my journal reference. even though in my reference journal, the mesh elements used and y + used are the same and larger. however, when I simulate the helical coil alone without jacket and stator, the results I get are appropriate and correct. then when I move the mesh settings and helical coil setup to the intact cooling component, the results are still wrong.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>in addition I have tried to smooth the mesh and thicken the inflaction layer, but the results are still not appropriate. is my mesh still not smooth enough or is there a problem in other parts? please can anyone help my problem?<\/div>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-302280","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-cfd","topic-tag-cooling-system-1","topic-tag-fluent","topic-tag-laminar-flow","topic-tag-nusselt-number","topic-tag-Wrongresults-1"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_subscription":["291352","199"],"_bbp_author_ip":["23.206.193.146"]," _bbp_last_reply_id":["0"]," _bbp_likes_count":["0"],"_btv_view_count":["767"],"_edit_lock":["1692533090:227424"],"_bbp_status":["publish"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_topic_id":["302280"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27792"],"_bbp_engagement":["199","291352"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["38"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["302962"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["302962"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2023-08-23 18:40:03"]},"test":"alwan2103student-uns-ac-id"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/302280","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/302280\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=302280"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
