Description of the problem is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Case I:<\/p>\n<p>Simulation of single slot geometry is carried out with the boundary conditions as shown in following figure:<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692464677-mceclip0.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692464677-mceclip0.png\" width=\"521\" height=\"317\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Where, opposite face is with Hdep = -Hind<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692464793-mceclip1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692464793-mceclip1.png\" width=\"527\" height=\"326\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>following figures shows current density plot at 1.3 ms at 1500Hz frequency and SolidLoss respectively (avg = 101.14 W)<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692464915-mceclip2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692464915-mceclip2.png\" width=\"516\" height=\"614\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692465239-mceclip3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692465239-mceclip3.png\" width=\"575\" height=\"495\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Case II:<\/p>\n<p>However to reduce the size and simulation time of the model symmetric boundary conditions are used as follows:<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692465401-mceclip4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692465401-mceclip4.png\" width=\"631\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Where, opposite face is with Hdep = Hind<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692465514-mceclip5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/19-08-2023-1692465514-mceclip5.png\" width=\"643\" height=\"398\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>with these boundary conditions and at same operating point SolidLoss was found to be same with the use of proper multiplication factor since the active length of the geometry is reduced. (104.61 W).
