


{"id":301237,"date":"2023-08-13T20:03:41","date_gmt":"2023-08-13T20:03:41","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/bingham-fluid-concentric-rotating-cylinders\/"},"modified":"2023-08-13T20:22:07","modified_gmt":"2023-08-13T20:22:07","slug":"bingham-fluid-concentric-rotating-cylinders","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/bingham-fluid-concentric-rotating-cylinders\/","title":{"rendered":"Bingham Fluid &#8211; Concentric Rotating Cylinders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m trying to compare the analytical solution of a bingham fluid, laminar in steady state in 2 cases:<\/p>\n<p>Case 1: External wall rotating 0.5 rad\/s and internal wall stationary<\/p>\n<p>Case 2: Internal wall rotating 0.5 rad\/s and external wall stationary<\/p>\n<p>For case 2 the results are very satisfatory, with a max deviation of 2,04%, Deviation % = (V analytc &#8211; V simulate)\/V analytc *100<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/13-08-2023-1691956566-mceclip0.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/13-08-2023-1691956566-mceclip0.png\"><\/a><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/13-08-2023-1691956714-mceclip1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/13-08-2023-1691956714-mceclip1.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But using the same parameters for the Case 1 the deviation is around 60%, I&#8217;ve already tried to change the solve method or initial valus but doesnt changed a lot.
