We recently renewed our subscription and downloaded\/installed the new Spaceclaim 2023 r1 software. Since doing so I have not been able to import\/export various file types, such as .stp, .igs, and .catpart even though we have the necessary data exchange packages (notedly .3dm files have been successful). This includes files created both before and after installing the new version, some of which were previously opened in the older version of SC. I’m curious if this is could just be an installation issue or a setting somewhere that got reset. It gives the “ERROR Failed to import\/export <filename>” immediately after clicking open and save or trying to drag-and-drop a file.<\/p>\n

It may be of interest that I uninstalled the old version we had after installing the 2023 r1, but doing so seemed to cause the 2023 version to crash on launch afterward. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the 2023, which then failed to recognize our licenses. So I had to manually activate the license ID’s given by our sales rep via cmd line.
