Below is the difference he was seeing.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The first image is the 3-body result. Note the peak goes down to 615 MPa.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/3e825b35-df61-45f5-9693-a81101684b62\/99d47b50-fee5-424d-9075-a90d01681a17_3-body-yes.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>It is understood that this model includes a stress singularity due to the sharp interior corner at the shaft, so comparing peak stress is somewhat pointless since any reduction in element size around the corner is going to result in a higher stress. The point of this post is to&nbsp;show that stress results on multibody parts should have Average Across Bodies set to Yes if they are all the same material.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Fabricio also asked how to get the full element display on the section view.
