I am reviewing the manual for turbulence modulation, so I am using the option &#8220;k &#8211; &epsilon; Dispersed Turbulence Model&#8221;, which has the following options:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/07\/28-07-2023-1690579491-mceclip0.png\" width=\"781\" height=\"315\"><\/p>\n<p>When configuring my simulation between both software, I check the option that Fluent gives me but I only find the following: &#8220;dpm-averaged&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/07\/28-07-2023-1690579585-mceclip1.png\" width=\"568\" height=\"488\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/07\/28-07-2023-1690579666-mceclip2.png\" width=\"782\" height=\"416\"><\/p>\n<p>So what do you mean by &#8220;dpm-averaged&#8221;? And how could I get information from the equations that Fluent is using to calculate the 2 source terms?<\/p>\n<p>Which option is the most appropriate for pneumatic conveying?
