


{"id":293040,"date":"2023-07-14T04:21:55","date_gmt":"2023-07-14T04:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/user-defined-material-with-eos\/"},"modified":"2023-07-14T04:29:31","modified_gmt":"2023-07-14T04:29:31","slug":"user-defined-material-with-eos","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/user-defined-material-with-eos\/","title":{"rendered":"User Defined Material with EOS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi,i&#8217;m struggling with using user defined material with eos..<\/p>\n<p>User Defined material (Fluid) goes well only with existing ueos 21v, which is gruneisen EOS (Material code i defined was verified through some examples.)<\/p>\n<p>I conclude problem is related to common variable &#8216;pc(i)&#8217; which is pressure-cutoff.<\/p>\n<p>pc(i) variable doesn&#8217;t work with another built-in eos, but only work with ueos because pc(i) defiend only in ueos<\/p>\n<p>I have questions.<\/p>\n<p>1) Is there any pressure-cutoff common variable to link with built-in ls-dyna eos??<\/p>\n<p>2) Is there any common variables to call EoS-calculated Pressure in library?<\/p>\n<p>3) or are there other methods to use the umat code with eos ??&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I attached part of the code.<\/p>\n<p>Any opinion is okay.
