I’m testing using lumapi to run scripts on an FDTD simulation I’ve run. The simulation includes an index monitor of size 197x197x67 with no downsampling (= 1).<\/p>\n

When running the script with the GUI not hidden, when trying to get the results (getresult) of “index” I will be given the prompt whether I want to proceed with preveiwing the dataset which requires more than 1GB of memory. The script will not continue unless I respond to the prompt.<\/p>\n

When running the script with the GUI hidden, the script fails at the point where it attempts to access the “index” result.<\/p>\n

What can be done to run scripts to collect monitor datasets when they require more than 1GB of memory? Downsampling is not an option for us.<\/p>\n
