Particle Velocity Magnitude"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi there,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I am running a geometry optimization of a nozzle. I am running he simulations in Fluent. The parameter to be maximized it the average velocity of the particles in a certain region, which is located at the end of the domain (and where the maximum velocities are expected).<\/p>\n<p>I have always plotted the &#8220;Particle Velocity Magnitude&#8221; (under &#8220;Particle Variables&#8221;) to check the velocity of the particles in my domain. However, I do not find the way tho create a Report to track the velocity of the particles.<\/p>\n<p>As an alternative, Y have achive to &#8220;report&#8221; the &#8220;DPM Velocity Magnitude&#8221; (under &#8220;Discrete Phase Variables&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>Both values seems to be similar, but not the same. However, I cannot find the difference between them.
