Hi there,<\/p>\n

I am running a geometry optimization of a nozzle. I am running he simulations in Fluent. The parameter to be maximized it the average velocity of the particles in a certain region, which is located at the end of the domain (and where the maximum velocities are expected).<\/p>\n

I have always plotted the “Particle Velocity Magnitude” (under “Particle Variables”) to check the velocity of the particles in my domain. However, I do not find the way tho create a Report to track the velocity of the particles.<\/p>\n

As an alternative, Y have achive to “report” the “DPM Velocity Magnitude” (under “Discrete Phase Variables”).<\/p>\n

Both values seems to be similar, but not the same. However, I cannot find the difference between them. I would appreciate, if someone could helpme with it.<\/p>\n
