One of&nbsp; the contact regions is for debonding cohesize zone model and I found out very high newton raphson residuals in there and the analysis was stopped. Also the highly distorted elements message popped up and i can see them in the last load step.<\/p>\n<p>Do I need to reduce the normal contact stiffness? I am confused that the normal contact stiffness is for closing the contact or openning the contact? Will that help if I change it to a smaller value? Any suggestion on an appropriate value?<\/p>\n<p>Or do I have to refine the mesh?
